progress makes perfect

i took this photo while riding the train. i like the one that has the MIDTOWN sign there, but that wall up in the top left hand corner [BEFORE] is kinda distracting to me.

i know its a way to get rid of it but im not on that level yet so i was wondering if the photo loses the effect with the sign cropped out of it?
